Description : 04 November 2023, marked a remarkable day as 74 young boys and girls from various schools united for a powerful cause – protecting our environment! Under the HEART (Humanity and Equality to Accelerate Rights through Therapeutic Theatre) project, an inter-school art competition took center stage. The focus? Preventing pollution through the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This event, organized by UTSA (Unite Theatre for Social Action) in association with Diakonia, encouraged our talented youth to express their thoughts about safeguarding our environment through their amazing artwork. The competition was fierce, and nine participants were recognized for their exceptional artistic talents, winning well-deserved prizes. But what’s even more inspiring is that all participants received prizes, celebrating their commitment to our planet’s well-being! Today, we saw the power of art and youth activism in action. It’s a reminder that each of us can make a difference, and together, we can protect our planet for generations to come. Let’s continue to reduce, reuse, and recycle for a cleaner and greener world!
