Description :   Our free school program managed by the slum children in our project area. We provide benefits to 116 slum children by this program. Free of cost children gets education from class KG1 to class 5. School managed by two shifts. Free school director- 1 (Foreign), Teachers- 6 (Bangladeshi) and 3 assistant staff engaged in this program. 1) Running a free school program by providing free school material and food to the neglected children in the society. 2) There are 02 shifts in free school up to 5th class. About 57 students are studying in the morning shift and about 60 students in the afternoon shift. 3) In this school, the poor students are given free of cost education materials, bags, uniforms and lunch. 4) From April 20, 2020 to September 30, 2020, 83 free school students' families were provided food items worth Taka 15, 26,076. 5) 4 basins are installed in the school premises for the health of the beneficiaries to resume school activities during the Covid-19 period. 6) Textbooks provided by the Education Board are provided to the students. 7) On 13th January 2021, William Carey Free School distributed winter clothes and blankets to their 105 students. 8) Free school teachers have been providing teaching and learning guidance online from February 2021. 9) William Carey Free School provides a video clip to students and parents with various guidelines on hygiene while on school premises.
