Title : ANONTO PRIMARY SCHOOL
Description : UTSA started a child education program under the “REHECDU for the Child and Women” program in 2003 with the aim of providing access to education for underprivileged children in urban areas. One of the initiatives taken by the organization was to work with the Chittagong City Corporation to establish Anonto Primary School in the Pahartoli area. The school is now running inside the Akbarshah Housing Society and provides educational opportunities to children who may otherwise not have access to them. The program aims to promote the education and socio-economic development of the underprivileged children in the area. Anonto Primary School provides education, health, cultural, rights and skill development opportunities for children from underprivileged and marginalized communities. The school offers a primary education program for students up to class III and also conducts various awareness programs. The school is mainly supported by private donations, donations from the executive and general council members of UTSA, and the support of various socio-cultural organizations.
