Title : Unity in Action: Cultivating Sustainable Livelihoods, Community Leadership and Social Harmony in addressing Climate Challenges in Host and Rohingya Communities.
Description : The project addresses the socio-economic vulnerabilities of both Rohingya refugees and host communities, as identified in the 2023 REVA. Recognizing the community’s overreliance on humanitarian aid, the initiative aims to build self-reliance through climate-resilient livelihoods, strengthened social cohesion, and inclusive protection systems. Through a comprehensive and gender-sensitive approach, the project integrates sustainable income generation, leadership development, and gender-based violence (GBV) prevention. It also promotes localization and feminist climate action to ensure long-term impact and community ownership. By targeting both immediate needs and structural inequalities, the project fosters social harmony, food security, and resilience to future climate and disaster risks. This project implemented at Rajapalong, Ukhiya (Host); Camp 03, 04, Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram and the time duration was September to June, 2025.
