Title :   Primary/Secondary Educational Project

Description :   International Educational Foundation NGO has operating 3 programs under Primary/ Secondary Education project: 1. William Carey Academy (American Curriculum) 2. William Carey Free School (National Curriculum) 3. Teaching English as Second Language (TESL) Introduction and Background of IEF: When this program started work officially, at that time there was no reputed English medium school in Chattogram. For providing quality education on 1995 William Carey Academy established under primary/secondary education project. On January, 1996 William Carey Academy started their classes. In the beginning 100 students was in from KG 1 class to class 3 and gradually it an increase class. Now William Carey have 368 students from Class KG 1 to Class 12. William Carey Academy follows American curriculum for providing education. In every class there are experienced American teachers for giving education. William Carey Academy is certified by ACSI. Classes divided in three categories 1. Elementary, 2. Secondary, 3. Higher secondary. William Carey Academy also gives education from the Bengali books selected by Bangladesh education board. In every class besides American teacher there is also a Bangla teacher who gets training and working as assistant. Every student learns Bangla, English and French language. For being a good human being, responsible, trust worthy, hardworking and loyal in the society William Carey provides moral classes. Besides education William Carey provides creative activities and co-curricular activities for students. For needy children this project also established a free school for provide education for free of cost. Every students gets education, educational materials, lunch, groceries, medical support and economical support. Now from Class KG 1 to Class 5 is available in free school.
